Metier

Metier is a monthly sports magazine. It focuses solely on female athletes, with a goal at celebrating their accomplishments. Often in the sports industry, female athletes are overlooked for men, and there has been a big fight for gender equality. Most "athletic" magazines geared to women feature fitness and diet, and have a huge focus on just celebrating the female athletic body. Metier aims to fill this gap. Below are selected spreads from the first issue, featuring the cover, front of book, and features. Completed in Spring 2018, under the guidance of Isaac Gertman at MICA.
