(Un)Known Subject

(Un)Known Subject is book about serial killers. The title was inspired from one of my favorite TV Shows, Criminal Minds, where they refer to the criminal they are chasing as an “Unknown Subject”, or “Un-Sub”. This book contains information about the psychology of serial killers, statistics, as well as profiles on some of the more well known serial killers throughout history. I’ve used a greyscale color palette with red accents to reflect a more serious tone, with the red relating to the blood and gore of murder. I also created my own photographs of printed out photographs and typography with pins and string, to relate to the pin board imagery that law enforcement uses when hunting suspects.
